Kevin Raum, MBA
Kevin Raum is a certified mediator and business consultant with more than 35 years’ experience as a mediator, facilitator, business coach, program manager and business advisor. He has led hundreds of court-mandated, community, private and business mediations. He has consulted with companies in the U.S. and overseas in industries ranging from telecommunications, bio-technology and software development to utilities, consumer products and professional services, as well as with federal, state and local governments. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Kevin received his M.B.A. from Johns Hopkins University. He has held leadership positions in numerous businesses, including a major biotech company (Dynport Vaccine Company as Deputy Program Manager), large consulting firm (Manager at KPMG Peat Marwick) and small privately-held companies. His mediation style seeks to balance a structured process for the participants, which encourages questions and exploration of issues with intuition and curiosity.
Terry McDougall, MA, EdS, DCEP
Terry McDougall is a mediator and licensed school psychologist with more than 25 years’ experience working with individuals, couples and families. She received her master’s degree in psychology, as well as her educational specialist degree (EdS), from Marshall University and did her postgraduate specialization in school psychology. She began her career in that field. Terry holds numerous certifications, including Diplomat Comprehensive Energy Psychology (DCEP), Professional Coach, Professional Mediator, Peace Ambassador and HeartMath™ Practitioner. Terry’s work is distinguished by her insightful and intuitive approach, as well as strong skills in recognizing individual differences. She strives to create a safe atmosphere where her clients feel respected and supported.
Julie Klingel, MA
Julie Klingel is a mediator with more than 20 years of professional experience. She has worked closely with senior management in the fields of healthcare, higher education, banking, technology and entertainment, and she has held leadership positions in both not-for-profit and for-profit corporations. Julie holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Santa Monica where she also served as graduate faculty in psychology for 13 years. Julie is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Colorado and California, as well as a certified coach with the International Coach Federation. She graduated from The Newfield Network coach training program and recently completed a Certificate in Leadership & Organizations at the University of Denver focused on organization development. Julie combines genuine compassion, caring and deep listening with her extensive educational background and business experience to help clients find meaningful solutions. She is based in Boulder, Colorado.
What We Do to Give Back
We believe in the power of mediation and its potential to transform people, their relationships and communities. Recognizing that not everyone can afford mediation, we give back by volunteering to organizations that offer mediation and other support services to members of the surrounding community, including—
